The Peak of Autumn Fall Foliage Turns Korea Colorful



Geographically, South Korea is located in the middle latitudes of the Northern Hemisphere, The four distinct seasons, summer, autumn, winter and spring, can be clearly felt and observed.

In the autumn (September to November), the fall foliage occur between late September to mid-November, is known for its beauty as the green leaves in the trees turn red and yellow and mountains and parks become very colorful.

This year, the first autumn fall foliage was observed first in 27 at Seoraksan National Park, Sokcho, Gangwon-do, South Korea. Now in November the fall foliage reached the peak and turned entire Korea colorful.

Without hesitation, visiting Korea between late September and mid-November will provide tourists a colorful experience.

Autumn season offers cool and clear weather, the recommended clothing are, warm and thick winter coats, boots, long-sleeved shirts or sweatshirts, and thick socks.
